Title: Error message question **SOLVED**
Post by: Cfoley on June 15, 2016, 06:30:12 am
I decided to try and resolve an old problem with FSDT KDFW and I deleted it from FSX and re-download it.  I get the following message several times (see image) and I have to select "Ignore" each time because "Retry" does not work.  I selected the Ignore button quite a few times and did get KDFW installed using the ignore option.  But by selecting "ignore", will that effect the airport functions, or possibly cause other issues?

You started the installer too quickly without allowing enough time to FSX to close all the launched processes, so several files are still opened, and you probably ignored the warning of the installer, suggesting that you should allow the installer to try to close Couatl.exe automatically. Sometimes the installer cannot do it automatically, especially if the antivirus is interfering.

A reinstall after a Windows restart will surely fix it.

I did what you suggested and it worked!  No error message. Thanks for the advice!
