Title: GSX not detecting P3Dv3 **SOLVED**

Hello here, recently I downloaded the latest GSX from the official website, and it couldn't find my P3Dv3 installation. All the simulator icons were greyed out saying "Not found". Both GSX and P3Dv3 are genuine copies, and again it's the latest version of GSX. Any clue on this? Thanks.

Your P3D registry keys are probably missing/corrupted/pointing to the wrong folder. You can activate logging in the installer, this way:

- Open a command prompt  ( start -> CMD -> enter )

- go to the folder where you have the installer, for example:

CD c:\Users\Yourname\Desktop

Assuming you put the installer on the Desktop

- launch the installer with this command:

gsx_fsx_setup.exe /log=install.log

This should hopefully create a file named install.log on your Desktop. If you have it, then send it to me ( via Email, please ).

The installer did generate a log file and I figured that the registry key was pointing to a wrong drive. Managed to fix it myself, but thank you anyway  :D
