On the main page, the download sends me to a 'mediafile blank page'. Tried 6 times with no action? Please remedy, thank you.

Works fine for me, so something is wrong with your system.

I've checked it now, and it works normally.
- Empty your browser cache, restart the browser and try again
- If this doesn't work, clear all the cookies coming from mediafire.com, restart the browser and try again
- If this doesn't work try with a different browser.
- If this doesn't work, try to restart your modem/router and try again

Thank you Umberto for your help but sadly, none of those things helped :(

Sorry, since nobody else has this problem, something IS wrong with your system.

Both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer and both show the same results.

What results ? Do you see some kind of error message ? If yes, which one ? Do you use a corporate connection ? They usually block Mediafire at the firewall level.
If you use a regular home ISP, it's *possible* they blocked Mediafire on your IP because someone else in your neighborhood that previously had an IP which is now assigned to you, downloaded tons of pirated movies eating up TBs of bandwidth, and you might have inherited both the IP (because of the dynamic assignment) and the block.
This might be fixed by restarting your router, assuming you are on a dynamic IP, and your ISP will assign to a new one each time you restart the connection.

All done now and the 2.1 update was included in the first download, thank you Umberto. Re-booting the router sorted it and I am grateful for your sound advice. ::)
