Hello,
After a complete reinstall of Windows7, and FSX, installation, I find that I cannot install any of my Dream Team airports.
I get an error when opening FSX. " Flight sim has detected a problem with a third party software, company virtuli. " If I click yes, sim crashes. If I click no, sim loads, but no buildings, only jet ways. On the drop down, 'add-on' Vista-mare is shown, that is all.
I did have Prepar3D installed, and the migration tool. Prepar3D is uninstalled, but I see bits of the migrator, and it won't let me uninstall, says, "in use"
Have also tried turning off my anti-virus, MS Essentials.
Thanks,
Jerry

The first thing to try is just restarting Windows, sometimes that error just goes away. And, in any case, keep allowing the module to run, even if FSX says it might not work, always allow it, even if it crashes, try a couple of times and try again after a Windows restart.
If that doesn't fix it, assuming you are sure you installed the most current version (to be sure, download and install the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX), check the following:
- No compatibility mode is enabled for in the Properties->Compatibility tab for FSX.EXE
- The antivirus is configured to ignore the FSX\bglmanx.dll module
- The FSX\bglmanx.dll is not corrupted for some reason (bad download, or antivirus corrupting it). To verify this, you can right click on it, select the "Digital Signature" tab, and check if it's stil valid. If it's not, it means the file has been altered on your system.

Roger, will try.
Thank you,

Okay, I tried all that you mentioned. Still the same error.
I suspect it has something to do with not being able to uninstall the migration tool, in programs and features, and also in my C drive x86, it says another program is using the file.

You can't even uninstall it after a Windows reboot ?

Hi Umberto,
That's correct, even after a reboot, same error message.
I have FSX, on another computer, I tried installing the add-on manager there, and no problem. This computer never had Prepar3D on it or the migration tool.
Looks like I am in for another reinstall of FSX, not looking forward to it, any other ideas?
Thanks,
Jerry

I found a uninstall fix on the Astonia forums. I guess this is a common problem with this tool. Ran it, and removed the migration tool.
Problem still here. Am I missing a file somewhere, in FSX, or worse in windows7 ?
thanks,
Jerry

You might try an FSX SP2 (or Acceleration, if you have that) "Repair" option, that is presented when you launch the FSX SP2/Acceleration installer.

Yes, another good idea. Will try it.
thanks again,

I ran the repair, no luck.
