Hi

I have installed GSX and registered GSX with no problems, however whenever I try to request a follow me car, or any ground services the message acknowledging the request appears on screen however nothing happens.

If I then go to my add ons bar the coutal menu has disappeared just leaving the Addon Manager (along with FUSPIC, PMDG FSINN etc)  I have uninstalled GSX, turned off my anti virus (using Microsoft Security Essentials) set bglmanx and couatl to exceptions in MSE but still no luck.

I have checked my fsx.dll and bglmanx is lised in it shoudl coutal be listed in it as well?

Any ideas?

You should enable logging from the GSX Settings menu, then check, after the menu disappears, if a Couatl.ERR file has been created in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder, and post its content.

I have enabled logging however no error file is created.

Try to reinstall GSX using the full installer that is currently online. No need to uninstall, just run the installation.

Hi,

Same thing happens and still no error file and the coutal menu disappears.

Hi

A quick update. It appears that couatl is not loading/stop/crashes when I request anything from GSX. I can change the key assignment without issue just not call the ground crew . (I checked the processing running using Ctrl Alt Delete). I have uninstalled, reinstalled, removed the addon manager without success.

Hi,

My problem was the line "simobjects\misc" was missing from my fsx.cfg. Adding that line gsx worked perfectly.

Good to know, in that case GSX wasn't the only product affected, you were also missing a lot of default objects too.
