Title: Ground power unit for GSX airports

Hi all, one of the many annoying issues with FSX is the lack of a gpu at airports, both large and small. Is there a way to add this scenery item to GSX in a future update?
Does anyone know of a third party gpu addon?
Yes I know some third-party aircraft addons do include a gpu, how do they do it?  Thanks.

This has been discussed many times already. It wouldn't be very difficult to add a non-working GPU, but it wouldn't be very useful if you can't use it to supply power to your airplane.

Of course, airplane developers have a much easier task making a working GPU, since they are in control of their own aircraft systems, while from GSX we would have to find a way to recognize and support all separate 3rd party airplanes, since the electrical system is by no means standard, and many airplane developers prefer to do their own.
