Title: Concorde Pushback doesn't work
Post by: abueren on October 27, 2013, 01:18:30 pm
Hello,

I tried using the FSL Concorde at KJFK and pushback with engines 2&3 running is refused. Since it is supposed to work "out of the box", what am I doing wrong? Boarding etc. works fine, the plane itself is recognized by GSX

Best regards
Adrian

What do you mean with "refused" ? What message you see ?

it says "engines need to be turned off in order to have pushback". Without having tried, I think the problem is, you have to call for pushback before the engines are started, right? Then it will tell you to start the engines and engage in pushback. Is that how it works?

Best regards

Yes, you need to stop engines before calling the pushback but we have a special case for the Concorde, that engines 2&3 must be on, because the airplane doesn't have an APU. I think you should be able to turn them on after the pushback truck is connected, but they must be off before calling the service.
