Title: PMDG 777
Post by: johndrago on August 29, 2013, 06:59:54 pm
Hi Umberto,

Assuming PMDG releases their 777 this weekend, will you be adding an update pretty soon to support it?

Thanks,

John

When it comes to the PMDG 777, I'll believe it when I see it, PMDG is really known for not being on time or keeping it's promises.

But how does the PMDG 777 relate to anything of FSDT?

They will update the aircraft definitions so that GSX will work properly with the 777.

Hi everyone,

I have one question about GSX’s pushback of PMDG 777. While pushback of this aircraft, I see in external view that nose wheel irregulary vibrates in left and right directions, however pushback process is correct. With NGX, there is no similiar issue. Is it normal behaviour?

edit:
I forgot to add: it happens when aircraft begins turn while pushback.

It's possible that some system simulation in the 777 is acting on the rudder control together with GSX, so the fight one against another. However, it's just a visual thing, because the airplane will be push back correctly in any case by GSX.

Thanks for explanation.
I have an idea that I will try pushback with Center hydraulic system off (center system powers nose wheel) - we'll see...
