Title: MegaSceneryEarth?
Post by: CX 747-400 on July 09, 2013, 02:25:57 am
Is anyone using the new MegaSceneryEarth? How is it, and how is it on FPS? I have used some of there older stuff, and I liked it, but it was a resource hog.

I have it for Florida, actually to me it running better with it then the default scenery..  It covers all of Florida, so I don't have to use like area for Florida & it looks so life like & so far like I said no hangups so far.. I flew Into MCO the other day with Ifly 737-900ER United & running good..

I guess it all depends on system your running.. I get mine really bumped up though because I knew I'd be getting a lot of scenery for FSX..

I have 1 TB of hard drive to play with along 8 GB's of Ram & not long ago got a new graphics card worth a 1 GB or Graphics..

Windows 7 64 bit

i bought 10 states and because of the size of each state i ended up removing them, just for the 10 i have installed is over 200 gig, what i don't like about it, when you come into land you can see the nasty flat ground and looks terrible, as far as flying my quality wings 757 above 2,000 feet it looks great. one guy told me he had the whole country installed and that it took 30 min just for it to load. ftx global is suppose to be released soon i am kinda holding back for it,i do however did keep a couple mega scenery earth states installed just because i am gonna be flying over them, thats my thoughts anyway.
