Title: reinstallation after upgrade

I just read the post that speaks of reinstalling sceneries after a drive crash or system upgrade. what if you are upgrading from FS9 TO FSX versions? does that require a new purchase?

Surely not, as explained on every page of every product, there's no such thing as an "FS9 purchase" or an "FSX purchase", the same license is valid for both so, follow the same procedure as reinstalling on a new system, and just use the FSX version of the installer.
