Title: Taxi way and center island color

KLAX. Picture#1.I noticed that the black color of the taxiway does not go all the way to the gate numbers on the left side like it does on the right side.Picture#2.Is the darkness of color on the middle grass to the right of aircraft correct? Thank you.
