Hi all,
this is my fisrt post, cause I am a new customer of GSX.
I love this product and the realism it brings.
On the last test I made, the FWD catering truck, when removing form the door, went in reverse, and then went ahead without bypassing my right wing.
How could we prevent this?
It was with ifly B737-700, at LIMF, scenery from Renato Galter, gate 111. I am using the last version of GSX (downloaded 2 days ago) under windows7.
Thanks for the answers.
Happy landings

Likely a problem with the AFCAD, like a misplaced or overlapped node. Try another airport or another parking at the same airport, maybe in a different area.

Hy Umberto,
thanks for the reply.
I have a try on another airports EGCC by UK2000 light scenery and LIBD default one, and the same problem occurs.

On LIBD, the truck completely run into the aircraft to allign on the taxiway which it follow to reyurn to its spot point.
I also noticed when pushing back that the rear stairs wasn't too far so the aircarft is passing throug.
Thanks for the tips.

Regarding this point, could you tell us more? I had a look of the afcad file with ADE of the 3 airport mentioned and I didn't notice something different in the nodes.
Moreover, tried some push back sequences and in LIMF I am pushed right on the taxiway line, turning as asked during the procedures, on EGCC I am just pushed straight on a few meters, then the sequence is ended. I read on other threads that it was due to a bad afacd, but how to repair/modify it?
Thanks for the support.

Hey Umberto,
So, any tips?
I tried to edit the afcad by changing the gate small in gate heavy. It does nothing.
I have now to try with a default plane and at a demo airport.
Nothing very important, hey, it's a sim, but could you confirm me if my investigation has to be done or if it is a "normal" limitation of GSX causing the vehicles to go through the plane and throug each other when meeting on the road to come to or to depart from the aircarft?
Thanks.

They don't, if the AFCAD doesn't have nodes placed in unusual places or duplicate/overlapping nodes or other similar problems. Whenever you find a problem, always try a default airport first, and see if it makes any difference.

I already tried it at LIBD. I will also try with a default plane...

Ok tried it, and also tried at EDDM default scenery in demo mode by deactivating my reg key... same result: catering vehicle goes right into the wing without avoiding it.
Could it be a corrupt installation?
Thanks.

Umberto,
I have dwnloaded and reinstalled without antivirus, and this is the same results: when arriving, catering trucks avoid the wing but, leaving the aircraft the driver run right throug it! And it is at EDDM, defaut scenery.
Any advice? Any help?
Thanks in advance.

There something we might have to fix, nothing wrong in your install.
-
Oh ok, so this is a "normal" feature.
Ok, this is nothing important, but I thought my installation or my config was wrong. I think I can live with that!
Be strong for all the updated asked!
