I've been using many products of FSDT over the past years and thought it was about time to see what the answer to the question is that I've got.
When you get closer to gates or the airport things appear, parked cars, buildings, containers and even the smalest things.
As a videomaker this is a downside since a shot you make needs to planned in a way that ensures that you get to a point that you get frustrated.
So if anyone has a solution for this it would be much appreciated :)

You can control some pop-ups, by raising the "Anti-popup" setting in the Addon Manager, this will increase the loading range for objects. But if there's LOD in effect (different parts of the same object appearing/disappearing by the distance), there's nothing you can do.

Hi Umberto,
thanks.
changing the LOD only ensures that the scenery in the distance will be displayed and needs less rending time, this is something I use very often.
The problem with the scenery is as shown below, I need to be extremely close to stuff to get it displayed.
FSDT is the only scenery that has this or is one of the few that has this a lot. If I understand correct this is not something that I can change?
As you can see in the screenshots it's even up to the yellow bar protecting the light pole that appears when I'm that close. It looks rather strange that when you near the jetways they appear in parts and are not shown completely at once :)

It's the only sceneries optimized so aggressively, other developers just use static jetways, so they can afford greater drawing distances, because the expensive bones are not used. Unfortunately, LOD requires recompiling the scenery models.

Ok well thanks for the answer
