Title: FSX crash
Post by: hockeydude7 on September 22, 2012, 07:06:36 pm
i installed GSX and it worked fine the first time. But now, every time I start FSX it crashes. This has never happened before so I assume it has to be caused by GSX. Any ideas?

The crash can't possibly caused by GSX, since GSX can't crash FSX, because it runs outside of it (under the Couatl.exe program) and, an external  .Exe, by definition, can't crash another one, not on Windows Vista/7/8 anyway.

It's likely your crash is the famous g3d.dll crash, which is the most common one in FSX, and it's usually fixed by installing the latest FSUIPC.

Yes, I was having the same issue until I installed the newest free version of FSUIPC I could find.  It fixed the problem, no crash since then.  Give it a try.
