Of course, the CS model has many bugs, but.....
1. service doors are open and catering trucks go up, but GSX keeps requesting "doors to be opened"....
2. cargo tugs come to open cargo bays each with only 1 (one) container, not three, as might be with a 744....
Looking for any advice....

I am using CS 777.201 and it is still too early, I believe, to try to connect the plane with GSX. Let CS do their job to finish the plane, there will be many adjustments before the version 1.0 is in effect and stable.

Johan

Even in the development stages, GSX will work will the CS 777-200, with a slight alteration in procedures. Let's take your questions in reverse order.
- GSX uses the number of passengers on the aircraft to determine how many cargo containers to use. That information is usually found in the aircraft.cfg file, in the form of a number of station_load entries. Typically in Captain Sim aircraft, the pre-flight configuration program places the appropriate values in the file for you. Each passenger gets a station_load entry, as does each cargo container. Until there is a configuration program for the 777-200, however, there are only two station_load lines in the aircraft.cfg. But you can still work with them.
To "load" your aircraft, go to the FSX menu at the top of the screen and select Aircraft > Fuel and Payload > Change Payload. You'll see two "Stations" -- these correspond to the two station_load lines currently in the aircraft.cfg file. The starting values are 170, but you can change them to represent the total weight of passengers and cargo. I used 17,000 for each one, so my aircraft has 34,000 lbs of payload. When you press OK, your values will be written to the aircraft.cfg file, which GSX will then use for the baggage trains. Using those two station loads caused GSX to place 3 cargo pallets on each of the two baggage trains, as you can see in the screenshot...

- With the weights that I entered, GSX worked just fine.
- CATERING: I was not required to open any doors for the 2 catering trucks (one at the front right door and the other at the rear right door). I was advised "Catering vehicles are in position", but that was all. The two catering workers moved through the closed doors until I opened them via the CS animation control panel.
- CARGO/BAGGAGE: I did receive instructions to "Open the aft cargo door" and "Open the forward cargo door" and GSX waited until they were open. You can use the animation control panel, or the keyboard shortcuts Shift+E+3 (forward cargo) and Shift+E+4 (aft cargo).
- PASSENGERS: I also received instructions to open the passenger doors, for which I had to use the animation control panel. The main door (1L) can be opened with keyboard shortcut Shift+E, but neither of the other doors on the left side appear to have any shortcuts.
So you can see that there's no need to wait for Captain Sim to finish their work before you can enjoy GSX with your 777!

Whoa! I did not know the passenger # could go that high..... Thank you, very much!
As the the caterers, I will have to wait and see....
Cheers!

Actually, the 34,000 lbs was a modest payload weight. It represents 150 passengers at 227 lbs each (person + baggage). There could be many more passengers than that!

Still, I did not know I could push the weight up that much.... so it's a win and a bit of math....
