Hello Simmers, just want to ask something...
Do any of You have used GSX at Malta International Airport (IATA: MLA, ICAO: LMML). As soon as I load a flight there (no matter the plane), I have a crash of couatl every second or two. It is working on all airports I have visited so far.
-
It's the default scenery ? If not, which scenery is, can you post its AFCAD here ?
-
Thank You Umberto for a quick response. Yes, it is stock Malta. I will post the AFCAD this european evening
-
Umberto, this should be the file. Thanks for the help
-
It's the same of the default, or it's a modified one ?
-
This is the default one. I cannot see any different for the airport, so this is the only one for Malta on my rig.
-
I've tried default LMML, no crashes both when selecting the airport, or starting a GSX operation (like deboarding), it all works fine. What airplane and gate you selected ?
-
Umberto,
I have tried BAe JS41 from PMDG, F/A-18E from VRS and SibWings O-1 Bird Dog. Actually, it crashes a second or two after selecting the LMML airport in FSX's welcome screen. When I slew outside the airport vicinity (few miles away), it is OK. I have map-moved the plane to the northern smaller island without an issue.
-
Could you try a default airplane ?
-
I flew out of Malta yesterday using default scenery myself and had no crashes using GSX. My guess is you may have duplicate AFCAD files.

I have found the reason...
Thanks drayotn for the clues, thank You Umberto for Your help.
The reason was VoxATC, or to be precise - their tool for correcting runways, which changed in RL since the FSX was introduced. They provide the tool, which corrects the airports, when runways have changed (Malta was on of these). I have disabled the scenery. Actually I totally forgot about this scenery.
