ok so i have GEX and the PMDG737NGX
what i want to know is how to change the settings because it always asks me to remove pilot covers even when they are not on, and start the apu before push back
i want to change this so that it doesn't check to see if the APU is running or the pilot covers are on
any ideas?

That it would ask to start APU before pushback, it's normal, so you won't risk ending without a source of power to start the engines by the time the pushback has ended. Yes, there's crossbleed start, but right now GSX doesn't recognize it yet.
Nobody has ever reported a mistake to detect the status of the pitot covers, GSX will ask to remove them only if they are on, I've checked the code and is correct.
And no, custom airplane variable it's not a setting that can be controlled by the GSX.CFG

ok so i cannot dissable the apu check?
sometimes i like to start the right engine at the gate using the GPU
not to worry i hope this could be added in a update maybe

Yes, we would like to add support for crossbleed start with an update.
-
can you keep me updated on when this will be added.
no rush

When there's a Live Update that adds a feature, we add it to the release notes that can be read inside GSX, so you'll likely find it there, and the Live Update has an automatic notification too (you'll hear a sound when FSX starts, followed by the Live Update menu)

Hello,
Any news regarding this problem. We have to use the APU each time for pushback. Could be nice to be able to do the correct starting procedure without having to start the APU.
And sometime it is a real problem when you are using FS2Crew in the same time ... Could be nice if GSX could detect it at start. Or maybe an option added in the pushback menu saying that we won't need the APU during Pushback

First, this it's not a problem that has to be fixed, since the usage of APU is not an unrealistic procedure. It's just that we don't support the alternative cross-bleed procedure yet, but that's something we might add as a new feature, shouldn't really be considered a bug waiting for a fix.
