I believe I am correct in saying that when there are updates available, there is not normally a 'Heads Up' about this? I mention this because my Homebuilt Cockpit is not normally connected to the internet, because socket/settings are used in a network. It means that when I want to check for updates, whether for GSX/ Windows or any other program I have, it involves changing my leads and some settings in order to go onto the internet.
In the past I have found out about updates as others talk about them, then I check for myself. I just wonder if a short notification could go up for the likes of me who otherwise would not automatically get an update window coming up?

You might bookmark the release notes URL, to check with another connected PC, and verify the release date:
