Title: Captain Sim 707's
Post by: robertorizzo on February 18, 2012, 10:52:42 am
Captain Sim's B707-300 fits perfectly after the upgrade, but E3 still doesn't; any chance to have it working just front and rear cargo door?

GSX doesn't support front doors yet, when it will, all the supported airplanes will be updated of course.

Sorry, I meant front left passenger door+ right back cargo.
I get two stairs for the left one, one for the door , the other maybe for the windows or the sliders.

Hi, I also have my problems using the freighter.. the pax version works like a charm!

Gear doors instead of cargo door?

2 stairs in the front, none in the back, and I should open exit 2 it says..??

Maybe you can assist with this one..  :)

Edit: I just read in another thread you added a specific condition to the Concorde as she had to have 2 engines running. Same applies to the 707, as she neither had an APU. Usually all engines were started
at the gate before push, upon arrival all engines except #3 were cut until external power had been established.
And as I'm just writing here and I'm sure you will read it, just an idea, to add 'GPU connected' and 'chocks in' gesture upon arrival. ;)
EDIT: This could be triggered by setting the parking brake, so when you receive the gesture 'GPU connected' you can shut the last running engine down. This of course is applicable to all airplanes.

Does the CS707 freighter comes in a different than Simobject\Airplane\CS_B707-300 folder ? If yes, which is the name of that folder ?

Indeed it has its own folder:
Simobject\Airplane\CS_B707-300C,
including its own aircraft.cfg, panel.cfg etc.

Ok, it's fixed already but we can't publish it now, because we are in the middle of implementing the new Aircraft editor (which is coming out very nice) and too many things are changing.
