Virtuali.
Hoping you can take a look at the video I have done to show rather than me trying to explain. Sometimes the Follow me car takes you a route to the gate where you collide with parked aircraft when other possible routes are available.
Not sure if this is something you can fix in the future or not?
Please please please take this post as me trying to help as I am certainly not criticising this fantastic FSX add-on.
Even if there is no way to stop this I will always use this tool.
Thanks in advance.
P.S
The taxing is rubbish I know it was rushed just to show what I meant.
(I am a careful driver really) LOL
& I will remove the video once you have seen it (don't want people put off)
Regards
Paul
Video removed
Fixed very quickly!

Follow me will use the shortest route to the selected parking spot. You can't expect GSX to "know" that your wing will hit another aircraft, you had ample room to swing wide right and avoid it.

You can't expect GSX to "know"
Sorry Bruce, to be fair I wouldn't have expected GSX to know how to do half the stuff it does a few weeks back. Just a general enquiry.

What you really found is...a bug in the Geneva AFCAD!
I've checked the map, and that Parking 62, where that AI you hit the tail was parked, shouldn't have been there, it's in fact past the line of Parking 61, and that would allowed clearance for a 747. In fact, the parking position looked odd, because the AI was parked exactly over a vehicle taxi.
In fact, a "problem" with GSX, is that will force us to be way more careful when designing AFCADs in the future.
If you run the Couatl_Updater.exe from the FSX\fsdreamteam\FSX\Couatl folder (with FSX closed), it will fetch the updated LSGG AFCAD automatically.
