Please help me to understand.
Does it mean that with new business model FSDT would have to submit their products into MS Live Database and the customers will purchasing the sceneries from MS rather from FSDT? Am I correct?
Thanks

If that were true, most developers would avoid Flight like the plague. :)

Microsoft and the developers behind this product are the ultimate trolls. :D

MS Flight will be THE biggest fail... It will be the worst FS ever. Trust me!

Actually, I'm way too far from this pessimistic paranoia that took over AVSIM entirely. If MS will allow 3rd party developers to provide their content to end-users independently (like they do now) and WITHOUT mandatory submission via Windowns Live or whatever it would be, I see nothing death-threteaning to the hobby.
As far as selling MSF in blocks (i.e. Hawaii, Europe and NA in separate pieces), this has been just a case waiting to happen and it happened, so I see no surprises here as well.

Read the fine print. To agree to sell for Flight a dev must give a portion of all proceeds to MS. Only ine dev had shown intrest and upon being told this they pulled out. There will be no SDK either.

If it's true and no compromise is planned, so....Long Live FS2004!!!

And FS9 continues on for a few more years!! Now I know how pilots still flying the DC8's, 727's and DC10's feel. Keep tweeking and maintaining and they can live on forever :D
