Title: Addonmanager block
Post by: dva909 on May 14, 2011, 09:07:05 pm
When starting FSX, I accidentally blocked addon manager so it would never run. Now, I can't use it. How do I unblock a program in Windows 7?

Use a text editor to open your FSX.CFG file located at

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX

find the [Trusted] section there, and remove all the lines that contains bglmanx.dll inside, remove the whole line including all the extra characters.

Save the file, on the next FSX launch it will ask again to run the Addon Manager. If you blocked the Couatl Scripting Engine, you should do the same for Couatl.exe

I did this, but no change. When I selected not to run it, I believe I selected to never run it. So, it blocked it through out my computer. I tried running a stand-alone addonmanager exe file. And, it told me that the publisher was blocked. Can I unblock the publisher? Thanks!

Ok, that's a different thing, I thought you blocked just the Addon Manager. Instead, you have blocked Virtuali entirely...

- In the Control Panel, select "Internet Options"

- Select the "Content" tab and click the "Certificates" button

- Select the Untrusted Publisher tab

- Select the Publisher ( VIRTUALI ) you wish to unblock and click the Remove button

Thank you very much. It worked.
