Title: another use for the hat switch?

if i get freetrack to work, then the hatswitch will be of no use anymore...
i can program it to work like regular buttons, so what should i assign to them?
what do you suggest, or what does it do in real jets?

The real jet(s) use the Castle Switch (selecting priority instruments, not simulated in the F/A-18A) and the trim.
