Hi Admin,
When I set the ILS and coming to land, how do I know I am high or low to the ILS signal.
In other aircrafts I get two triangel marks and I can bring the Aircraft to the correct level.

you need to click the ILS button on the MDF when in the HSI mode if I recall from memory. Once you do that, you should get glideslope and localizer bars on the HUD.
-
That's right.

i might be wrong but i think he knows how to activate the ILS, he just can't understand the glideslope on the HUD lol
thats what i understand from what he said

If you dont undestand the basics to a ILS. Try this link here http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ils.htm (http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ils.htm)

Thanks everybody for the help. As F18 was new to me it was a little bit confusion regarding the HUD.All the other aircrafts you can turn the controls and see what is happening. In F18 some knobs can be turn but nothing happens. As an example the knob marked - N-UP/ NORM/ D CTR
By the way I have over 100hrs flight time and more than 100 landings nearly all with ILS!

That knob works perfectly fine. It switches between different HSI representations: N-UP means Rose mode/North Oriented, NORM it's Rose mode Airplane oriented, and D-CTR means Arc Mode down centered on the airplane.
