Title: Error Message when FSX starts - The Couatl Scripting Engine has encountered
Post by: Nexus6 on October 02, 2010, 02:26:12 pm
Hi, I have my system setup with 2 hard disks. On disk 1 I have Windows 7 64bit, disk 2 I have Windows XP... well, many reasons for doing this. On both I have FSX installed and FSD Zurich X. On Windows 7 it works fine, but on Windows XP I had no buildings... just the ramps...

So I uninstalled FSD Zurich it on Windows XP and tried to reinstall it. The installation seems to be fine, but when I start FSX I get the following error message:

I tried to unistall again and reinstall.. same. I get only 1 menu item in FSX (I know there should be 2)...

Thanks
Thomas

The message says:

"Installing the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager should fix the problem"

Have you done that ?

Download link for the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager is on all "Info" pages of every product.

No, I haven't done it as I was unable to find it (should maybe be a faq?). Anyway, I found it (as you said) in the Info pages and downloaded/installed it... that fixed my problem. Thanks and Regards
