Title: Editing GSX Door Positions etc
Post by: Andy764 on September 28, 2025, 02:01:27 pm
Hi All,
I've been using GSX Pro for several years now.  Due to a Windows "Issue" I have done a full reinstall.  GSX works fine as does everything else.  My problem now is none of the navigation buttons used for positioning exits tow truck etc now work. ie the arrows, number pad arrows etc.   Is there a way of resetting these?  I have gone through the manual but unless I've missed it, it just shows you what the keys should be.   I am also using Chaseplane, Would this cause the issue? None of the key bindings clash that I can see.

Thanks for any insight.
Andy

All keys work normally, but I don't have Chaseplane, so I can't say if it might cause a problem.

A FEW keys changed in a recent update: the Q/Z used to raise/lower objects now are PgUp/PgDown, and the Shift key no longer has to be kept pressed to move fast and now it's a toggle between Fast/Slow movement, but other than that, nothing changed.

Make sure the keyboard is set to 2020 keyboards in the controls editor of FS2024

Just to update and in case it helps others.  The problem I had was caused by Chase Plane.   Use it to get to the correct position.  Then disable it adjust the GSX items.  re enable chaseplane when you exit GSX editor.
