Title: Unable to launch Live Update

Hi - I know this has been posted previously a couple years ago, but I am having an issue today with launching live update.  The installer will open and do it's thing but it will never launch the Live Update dialog.  The installer dialog will simply disappear.  Running the Universal Installer again will temporary fix this issue, but when I launch live update again I will encounter the same problem. 

While troubleshooting, I noticed that Couatl_Updater2.exe will be about 20MB after reinstalling from the Universal Installer.  The second I launch live update via the desktop shortcut (which actually triggers Couatl_Updater.exe), the Couatl_Updater2.exe file size will go from 20MB to 1KB and not launch.  Reinstalling using the Universal Installer will revert the file back to 20MB.  I can then launch Live Update via command line (Couatl_Updater2 /INSTALLMODE /LOG) or clicking on Couatl_Updater2 directly and the file size remains the same and Live Update will launch.  The second I try any of the desktop shortcuts for Live Update, the file will revert back to 1KB and never launch.  I am attaching the log that was created, however I suspect this was created when the GUI actually launched and not when it was failing - although it does contain a couple of errors.  Hope this is helpful.

just wanted to bump this topic - this seems to be a series bug that is still occurring.

Have you tried using the offline installer? That's how I got 3.6.8 successfully installed. For the past few days, the universal installer is reporting 3.6.6 as the latest version for some reason.

Found a solution I think..........re-installed the offline installer and that did the trick for me

The offline installer works until I run live update again.
nevermind - its working now.  i was mixing up the universal installer with the offline installer.  the offline installer seems to have fixed the issue.
