MSFS2020 / PMDG 737 passenger version, any aiport: no automatic door opening or closing when boarding or catering (checked settings). No cargo doors, no pax doors, no catering (right) doors. Also no automatic disconnection of ground power (even if GSX still asks if you want to, when disconnecting the jetway).

Hi there!
I got exactly the same problem on my side, and it started right after updating to version 3.5.3. In addition to the above, GSX is unable to enter weights into the FMC or “refuel” the aircraft. It looks like GSX is not able to communicate with the aircraft in any way.
Also, I’m wondering - is there any way to downgrade to the previous version?

exactly the same right after the update using the PMDG 738
No doors opening/closing automatically and have to insert the fuel, passenger and cargo numbers manually
Had no issues at all prior to the update

Please post your sessions logs, I need to be sure the airplane has been recognized.

Enable logging in the Troubleshooting area of the settings page, it will tell you where the log is, by default:
%APPDATA%\Virtuali\Couatl.log
but you must first enable logging to obtain one.

Same here. No auto door or refueling. I have to set up all manually on FMC. Just fyi.

Launch the Installer and make a "Check" on GSX. There's an update that should solve the problem. (have not tested it yet)

Sidebar issue: How do you disable the jetway controlling the EXIT door?
I wish to control all the doors as previously.

Same issue here. After update, with PMDG 739 no door automation from GSX.

Hey, little Update.
After unistall and reinstall GSX, Gsx make the FMC Settings and my Pink Squares on my Vehicles are gone.
The Door automation still not work.

sorry to butt in here. But your "complaints" are useless without a protocol. Virtuali has clearly stated that here. He even wrote down how you have to activate EA.

The issue with PMDG automation has already fixed with an hotfix we released yesterday, it will be noted in the release notes for the next version, but the fix is already up and it works, after you perform an update CHECK.

This still doesn't seem to be working properly in 3.5.4. I had to manually enter fuel, and manually open and close doors. Log file attached

It is also not working for me. I am running version 3.5.4 Uninstalled and reinstalled the GSX.

Sorry to contradict , but it is not fixed. Today I have uninstall and reinstall GSX, because I have the pink texture issue (witch was solved by reinstalling GSX), but the PMDG door automation still does not work. I guess reinstalling today , was also with the hotfix, so it was not fixed nothing. Is useless that you say that the hotifx was release yesterday, when people is talling you today 31/05/2025 that the automation door for PMDG is not working.

Yes it works now. Still there is an issue yet. As you know PMDG 737, for some unknown reason, when you spawn at the gate with jetway, it show you from cold and dark the L1 stair. Before update, GSX was capable to remove the stair, because understand that you have a jetway. Now , open the doors as it should, connect the jetway , but don t remove the stairs, have to remove manual in FMC telling that is a jetway. Guess need another fix

On the 737, GSX uses the 2nd FMC to remove the stairs, and in cold and dark, it has no power until you turn at least the battery on. If the FMC is not powered, neither GSX nor you can push its buttons, but the change from using the 2nd FMC from the first one happened long before this update, so I can't see how GSX could have possibly been able to use an unpowered FMC.
I guess we might "fix" this by checking first if there's any power (real cold and dark), and in that case use the 1st FMC instead, but never had this logic before.
The reason why the PMDG 737 stars in cold and dark on a gate with a jetway with a stair attached might be a quirky, but you should be able to prevent it, by sending away they stairs manually once, then Save this as a new custom cold and dark preset, which you can also make as default or not, if you want. If the save state works as it's supposed to, you will never start with the stairs attached.

My logic flow to star a flight: spawn at the gate, power the batteries and the ground power, and then after call GSX. So before the update, GSX removed the stair attached. I didn t change the flow of power the aircraft. But anyway, I know I can save a cold and dark state in PMDG without stairs attached. The reason I didn t do it until now, was because GSX was more intelligent then PMDG, and remove the stairs. What I was intend to say, is that now, it doesn t even with the second FMC powered up.
