Title: External power problem with GPU
Post by: Yak54 on February 26, 2025, 09:32:02 am
External power problem with GPU

Since version 3.3.1.
GSX won’t toggle External power automatically anymore, to not interfere with custom coded 3rd party integrations.
I use the MSFS2020 standard aircraft like the King Air 350.
Since this update I no longer get any external power when calling up the GPU! After a certain time at the gate the aircraft’s batteries are discharged!
Can you tell me how I can turn the external power back on (via lvar in lua script or similar)?

Best Regards

Can you please Attach the GSX.CFG you are using for the airplane ?

Hi,
Please note the gsx cfg file of the King Air 350.
The external power when calling the GPU worked on the King Air 350; by the way, until the update mentioned!
Best Regards

Hello,
Can you give me a hint as to which LVARs or events you used for the external power switch in the King Air 350 cockpit? I found several LVARs and events in MSFS2020's dev mode, but none worked for me in the Linda Lua script. I need these variables for my home cockpit. Until the GSX update version 3.3.1, the external power worked when calling the GPU!

Thanks in advance!

I found the necessary event.
Now I can switch on the external power from my home cockpit when I'm at the gate. The King Air's main bus receives 28V and the batteries are charged. :)
