Title: [MSFS 2020] GSX Main Menu stuck at loading

Hi everyone,

I really need your help. I’ve been trying to fix a loading issue with my GSX Pro. I’ve already reinstalled MSFS 2020 and performed a clean install using the FSDreamTeam Installer, but it still doesn’t work. I’ve exhausted all possible methods, including following the manual guide on page 97.

Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled gsx pro 4 times now, cleaned out folder that are weirdly left behind when uninstalling addon manager.

Every time I start the sim I get the same issue saying the coutal engine is trying to start, I restart it in the system tray and open gsx and get left with the "Loading GSX Menu, please wait..." and eventually failed to load gsx menu error.

I have read the manual page 97 and none of that helps.

even after trying to reinstall gsx and restarting couatl numerous times the menu still does not load. What should I do?

I experienced a similar issue today. I've gone back to MSFS 2020 due to too many bugs in 2024. GSX worked up until time of pushback. Pushback never started and then the menu started being unable to load. I restarted couatl a couple times but it didn't help, so I completed the flight without it. I tried starting it up again after landing, but same problem continued.

Same problem here, re-install software multiple times to no avail.  Same issue in MSFS 2020 or 2024.

Please follow all the suggestions in the manual, starting from Page 95, where general Troubleshooting is discussed ( antivirus, etc ), and especially Page 97, with the whole chapter dedicated to menu not loading issue.

I do not have AV installed and followed all instructions provided by the manual on page 95 still no avail.

This may have no bearing on the problem whatsoever, but !! I rolled back to the previous driver for Geforce Nvidia (566.xx ??) and the problem went away for me.
Reason for rolling back..... to avoid the problem of having DX11 selected in fs2020.
Yes, I am aware I could delete the Nvidia App !!
