Whats up everyone, so I am in the bravoairspace 787-8 and everytime i load up GSX it says Can't Find the Aircraft Type, I have the right airframe set into simbrief and also have a GSX profile installed for the aircraft but its just not having it. Anyone know a fix for this? I just recently updated the aircraft through the marketplace so not sure if that has something to do with it or if I have to run the live update again on GSX. Thanks for the help

Most common cause is the airplane lacking the icao_type_designator in the aircraft.cfg, which should always be present in every proper MSFS 2020 airplane.
-
is that something I can put in my self to fix the issue or? Thank you

Just open the aircraft.cfg of the aircraft in question and add it in.
-
It says at the top ICAO code and it already has it in
-
The aircraft.cfg of the aircraft itself, not the gsx.cfg profile of the aircraft.

i cant find the aircraft.cfg file anywhere

Hi, Did you find a fix? IF not, I was able to by editing the all four aircraft.cfg found in each folder here:
C:\Users\[Your User]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\horizonsim-aircraft-787-9\SimObjects\Airplanes
I added the correct information, saved and restarted the sim.
