Title: Crossbleed starts, will it happen?
Post by: unfusible on December 03, 2024, 05:01:05 pm
I love to be as realistic as possible when flying in the sim, and I am well aware of the procedures many airlines have in case of an inoperable APU. I have had GSX PRO since it released for 2020, and have been eagerly waiting for the day a simple tick-box would make its way into the settings menu to allow people to perform crossbleed starts. (1 engine start at the gate prior to Ground Power disconnect followed by a crossbleed to start the other after push).  Will this feature ever be added, it seems so simple to implement, by simply removing the inability to push with an engine running at idle. Thanks

What do you mean you can't push with an engine running at idle. I've done it before.

Keep in mind Concorde didn't have an APU, so you HAD to start some engines at the gate.

The version I am referring to is GSX Pro, for MSFS. GSX is locked out if you try to perform any actions on stand with any engine running, this includes having a master switch on, even if the engine itself is not running.

Yes, I'm aware you're referring to GSX Pro, but it would be highly irregular if they removed functions from GSX Pro given that it's newer than GSX.
