Installed GSX Pro into 2024. Start MSFS 2024 it loads I go into free flight select a plane then select an airport and a gate then select start flight and it just sits there with the spinning circle in the bottom right corner and does nothing.
If I unlink GSX PRO I can get all the way in and fly. Not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated.

it's best if you Disable ALL GSX replacement jetways in MSFS 2024, since the Navdata is not the same, so we need to update it. You can still use GSX Airport services.
Note that, with the latest update, the installer will suggest to do that (if you have both MSFS 2020 and 2024 installed), or will do it automatically (if you only have MSFS 2024) when performing an update CHECK on GSX, or when using the Relink function.

Updated to the latest (3.3.0) and it did suggest to replace jetways and I clicked yes to do that.
Still having the same problem.

I have the same issue too. Works with third-party like Fenix but when selecting any of the included airliners like Inibuilds, etc, spinning circle forever until I disable GSX. Disabled all jetyways so this is not related to that particular issue.

I think I MAY figured out the issue. For those with Simbrief, if the existing plan does not match the starting location or aircraft, the sim never loads due to the below error.
Umberto/Joe - can you guys test and verify?

Same issue for me as well. Only to caveat is it seems to not load with any aircraft for me. Once I unlink it the sim loads the aircraft with no issues. Running the latest update as well as disabled jetways.

I have been experiencing the inability to load at airports. I disabled all jetways as recommended. I first noticed this at FSDT KORD using the default 737Max. I was able to load the Max at KBUF and use GSX ground services. I was also unable to load in at KIAD and KSFO despite repeated attempts. I just deactivated GSX and was able to load in at KSFO and KIAD (the Flightbeam versions). I will continue to monitor this thread to see if the problem is identified and a solution found.

OK, yah its not Simbrief - just had another endless spinning wheel even when plan and route matched...

Same issue for me, I spent hours and hours on that struggling issue >:(
even unable jetways with the last update... the sim is just locked
all is working fine when disabling GSX PRO
need to be solved by a fix urgently ::) ::)

Same here. Spinning wheel and nothing happens. Hopefully Umberto can find the issue and fix it soon! :)

You are confusing two completely different issues in the same thread here.
- MSFS 2024 crashing or freezing on the Map with GSX installed. Can only be caused by not having disabled ALL replacement jetways.
- GSX menu stuck on loading. There's a whole chapter in the manual dedicated to all known causes at all known solutions at Page 97, no use repeating it here.

but Updated to the latest (3.3.0) and it did suggest to DISABLE ALL GSX jetways
I clicked YES and CONTINUE
Still having the same ISSUE.
IT WORKS ONLY ON SMALL AIRPORTS WITH NO JETWAYS....!!
May be something wrong with the installer....??

I have been told that GSX works with MSFS 2024 but i am having an issue and i tried to follow all the directions online. I am flying default A321 out of default KEWR and if i start the freeflight on the runway with engines on it loads no problem.
BUT
If i try to start at a gate the flight won't load , it gets caught up in a loop with the hourglass running.
I know its not a msfs problem cause if i unlink GSX in 2024 no issues starting msfs.
Can someone help ?

I have the same issue and pent hours to try solve it... reinstalled FS 2024, uninstalled GSX PRO, reinstalled it, nothing helped so far.
I used the last FSDT installer with GSX PRO 3.3.0 and click Yes when prompted to disable GSX jetways but it did not help/
ALTHOUGH it ONLY works ON SMALL AIRPORTS WITH NO JETWAYS
so I suppose that GSX and Couati are linked properly to FS2024 , but it doesn't"t work on ALL airport with jetways event after disabling the GDX replacement jetways in the installer.
I already posted and waiting for any solution from Virtuali

Please don't open a new thread when another one discussing the same issue has already opened.
The issue seems random and not related to the airport having jetways (assuming you disabled them all, as suggested by the installer now), try removing the Airport Services as well, this will remove any change made by GSX to the airports.

FOUND SOLUTION !! :D
1. in the installer run desactivate all GSX jetways as indicated
2. click exclude "all 3rd party etc..." and APPLY
3. in simbrief generate the flight you want to do with correct aircraft.
4. launch the sim , go to the free flight and enter Departing and arriving airport as mentioned in your simbrief flight plan
FLY ... and it works fine... got the GSX working with default jetway and passengers boarding.
You can also choose to start your flight from a Parking/ Stand not equipped with jetways and it works too...
Anyway a fix is needed ..

If this works, the real reason seems to be MSFS 2024 has issues starting on an airport without a flight plan. GSX does read the standard variables to see if the departure and destination airports are the same as the ones on Simbrief, but only if you have a Simbrief flight plan active.
So, maybe, the real issue might be MSFS 2024 is freezing if the variables for the departure/destination airport are read without a flight plan (in MSFS 2020 they were a null string, which is normal), I think if this is the case, there might be workarounds on our side.
You can also test that, by removing your simbrief username from GSX, if that works without the need to create a flightplan in the sim, that's the issue, because without a username, GSX won't even try accessing those variables.

Sure, a real fix is needed and it should be done by Microsoft, if that's really the case. Of course, we can try workarounds around it, as usual when we found simulator bugs that can't be fixed as quickly as we can.

As Umberto mentioned, try toning down your settings for objects such as air traffic, cars, boats, etc and LOD settings. Seemed to have worked for me but I hope this gets fixed as I would like to have the freedom to load in AI traffic when something like FSLTL becomes available in MSFS2024.

I spent the whole weekend starting and restarting MSFS 2024 with various different configurations, and even activating a flightplan doesn't seem to constantly fix the problem. However, it seems that removing this folder:
\Addon Manager\MSFS\fsdreamteam-gsx-world-of-jetways\LivingWorld_Config
Will make the freeze on the map view when starting a flight way less likely. This is strange, since that file is fairly simple list of vehicles assigned to populate the airport, so it's handled entirely by the sim without any ties to the GSX code, so we'll surely bring it to MS/Asobo attention, since specifying an alternate vehicle Living World file is fully supported in the SDK and there's even a a sample file, which our source 100% complies with.
Removing it will work as a temporary solution, so you won't have to renounce to GSX. The effect of removing it, is that ground vehicles wandering around the airport will be the default ones. There will be zero effect on GSX-proper operations on your own airplane.
In the next update, we'll do this from the installer, which will do that automatically, like in case of the replacement jetways, until a permanent solution (possibly after a sim update that migth make it more stable in general) will be found.

After deleting that folder as you mentioned, the map was successfully loaded the first two times. But strangely it still started getting stuck on the map screen again afterward. :-\

good news ---
it worked fine for me ; after removing this file in the main Addon Manager foldr in my C:/ drive
i did start the installer; opened the MSFS2024 window in the installer to point to my community is located in another SSD not in C:/)
then clicked " check"
and now i got GSX services in almost all airports ( but not any gate , sometime i got a message from GSX sayon " this place is not active no GSX services available etc..." but there is no more freeze on the map view. Thank you very mucvh to Virtuali developer it's scuh an important tool for adding realism in the sim thk you --- hope for a fix from MSFS soon also to avoid all thses problems :)

I assume when you say "disable all replacement jetways" you are referring to the 3rd party button in the CONFIG page in the installer ????

I deleted the file and it still doesn't work for me. I still have no working GSX in my MS2024. I am totally giving up.

I don't know what you are trying to say here but, the latest update ( which has been released last week ) automatically removes the Living world files, so it does what other confirmed cause the loading problem in MSFS 2024. That is, assuming that IS your problem.

I can only repeat and confirm there are NO problems whatsoever with MSFS 2024 not loading, assuming you have both Airport Services and Replacement Jetways all Disabled, which should be done automatically by the installer, unless you also have 2020, so it would ASK, but of course you must reply YES to prevent this.
If you have been asked, but replied NO, or you haven't been asked, or you don't remember, or Airport Services and jetways hasn't been disabled by the FSDT Installer for any reason, just do it yourself, Config page, be sure both are on the DISABLED list and press Apply.
