Title: "Good engine start confirmation" option greyed out

Hi! This option has turned grey in my settings for some reason, so I can't enable/disabled it; this is happening both on P3Dv5 and MSFS with every aircraft. How can I fix it? Thanks.

I also have this issue. I think you can fix it by running the updater.

It seems as if FSDT is no longer addressing some issues. It's now June 2025, and the bug still exists.
Since MSFS was developed, the Prepar3d version has been consistently buggy.
It's unbelievable how customers are treated here.

I cannot replicate the "bug", of course. The OP said it happens with "every aircraft", so I tried a random default one, and the option is NOT greyed out.

If anybody made a precise report, clearly indicating the aircraft used, I might have been able to explain, because this option can be greyed out in some airplanes in their profile.

After reading your reply, I checked to see if it really depends on the aircraft.
But no matter which aircraft I select in Prepar3D v5, the option is always grayed out.
Look at the screenshot, I have attached.

If I enter the line good_engine_start = 1 in the CouatlAddon.ini, the option is enabled and can also be disabled.
After a restart, the option is grayed out again.
