When I start a flight the FSX freezes when the cockpit view appears with the error message: ntdll.dll :-\
Are there any changes in the file dll.xml that cause this crash?
Up to and including update 2.9.8 everything worked perfectly.... and no changes were made in FSX before the update versione 3.0.0
Who can help me to solve the problem ?
-
The update is buggy and so so bad , Miraculously I revert back to my previous version 2.9.8 and I don’t see any advantages from any updates what’’s annoying is the complete lack of immediate response from the developer to fix this. My advice don’t ever try any updates

Hi ! How did you revert to the previous version please, my gsx is also crashing with the new version ?
Thanks

If you backed it up before the update, you can just put the files back.

There hasn't been any reply, because the problem can't be replicate. Ntdll.dll usually indicate you just exhausted your memory, which in FSX being a 32 bit, is fairly easy.

Thanks Umberto
......Was this affected by the last update? (exhausted memory)

Surely not, because, of the two executables that would use memory in FSX:
- Couatl.exe runs external to the sim, so it has its *own* separate up to 4GB memory space, and it can't take away memory from FSX, and its last update (according to its Digital Signature, so you can be sure it hasn't changed), is November 2023
- Bglman.dll, which is the only one that runs in-process in FSX, so it's the only one that could *theoretically* take away extra memory from FSX, hasn't changed since September 2023.
