Title: New GSX update with Passengers
Post by: adamjpestridge@gmail.com on June 07, 2024, 12:29:27 pm
IN the latest GSX update, Ive seen MFS users needing to use the cockpit door to enable and disable the passengers in the back, would it not make more sense to bind this to the seatbelts signs?

Having the signs ON will disable the passengers in their seats and when turning OFF the seatbelt signs, would enable the passengers in the back. Every plane has a seatbelt sign, not every plane has a workable flight deck door.

Since the only airplane supported right now is the Fenix, which *does* have an animated cockpit door, that's a non-issue.

But the plan is to make this compatible with more planes in MFS and P3D, yes? Fenix is only available in one sim. How will the PMDG 737 in any sim handle the passengers loading in without the flight deck door?

The plan is to add new airplanes with regular updates, for MSFS only, deciding on a case by case what to use to allow users to dynamically decide when they should get the fps impact in flight.
