GSX is crashing after boarding starts. Ran live update to no effect.
-
Found the problem, It turns out it is a airplane problem.
-
I have the same problem.
Refueling and catering work perfectly. As soon as I start passenger boarding, GSX says goodbye and cannot be restarted.
Everything worked fine until I did the latest live update.
Nothing has been changed in the simulator (P3Dv4.5). Only the live update of FSDT.
Which airplane problem do you mean exactly?

By my error log I was having the same issue as paullaveault, "TypeError" 'NoneType'object is not iterable'
Crash would nomarlly occur when the staircases were in place
-
That error seems to indicate something wrong in the airplane profile, like wrong door definitions.
-
in the aircraft.cfg or in the gsx airplane config?
-
I'm thinking the GSX airplane configuration.
-
I have attached the aircraft.cfg, for any suggestions

in the aircraft.cfg or in the gsx airplane config?
I don't think it's the simulator itself, or one of the other add-ons. I haven't changed anything for ages (e.g. aircraft.cfg).
I have had the same problem since a (the last?) GSX update, as I already described in another thread (https://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,31560.msg200825.html#msg200825) .
I then copied an older GSX version from my backup and everything is working fine again.
The problem now is that I can´t start further updates with my old GSX version because the problem then occurs again (I have already tried and undone it twice).

I'm encountering this error as well, but it doesn't appear to be very widespread. I've tested a wide range of airplanes from various developers at the same parking spot one after another, and the only one that causes this couatl crash is the Milviz 737. This is a new plane for me (I was living under a rock and didn't find out they were giving away all their P3D planes until a couple of days ago), so I don't know if GSX is supposed to work with this or worked with it in the past, but as of now it is throwing the same error message that others are reporting. Here's what I've noticed:
1) It only affects this one plane. Everything else in my collection seems to work normally.
2) It only affects passengers. If I use the cargo variant of the Milviz plane, cargo will unload normally. The moment I try to deboard crew or passengers from any of the variants, it immediately crashes couatl.
3) Changing settings through GSX config and manual edits to the [exits] section of the aircraft.cfg file don't seem to have any effect.
It must be some sort of problem with the exit configuration in this plane. Is there any way to work around this, or are some airplanes simply incompatible with GSX? Milviz isn't offering support anymore, which stands to reason given that they're giving their P3D planes away for nothing.
Suggestions welcome - it would be really nice to have a working combi plane. Error log from recent test attached in case it's of any use - mine seems a lot briefer than the others posted here, but the error message at the end is consistent.
-
Did you create a GSX configuration for the Milviz 737.
-
Yes - I've tried a variety of things with the door configuration, including changing all the doors except pax 1 to "no door" but the issue persists.
-
Any solutions or future updates to fix the issue?

Same...

same here exactly this also happening to me ,exactly the same issue with same log coualt error, GSX crashes after starting Boarding or deboarding , I think this is a bug in this last update
-
Has this error been fixed with the live updater? If so I have tried to run it and I still get the same issue as previously reported.
-
Has been fixed several releases ago.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled and tried the live updaters and I am still experiencing the same issue.

I agree... Nothing helps here in the moment. Must be an issue with the last update as others said.

Any further response as too why I am still experiencing this issue?

Good question…
Other third-party providers are usually to blame here, never FSDT...

I am still experiencing the same issue.

Ok, I have to take back my accusations, because I could at least narrow down the problem.
It looks like GSX only crashes during boarding and deboarding in connection with the Project Airbus A320-200 (CFM and IAE version).
The only question is: What can be done? I have already created new GSX files and also changed the door definitions in aircraft.cfg, without success.
I would really appreciate any tips.

Remove the intelliscene.cfg from the airplane folder, is only needed by AES.

I'm going to try it out today. I will report back.
