How to Activate Ground Services on a helicopter when there is No parking brake?
-
Since you surely are using some kind of custom profile, since there aren't any helicopters supported by GSX internally, you can set the ParkingBrakes test to some variable that might be meaningful for an helicopter in its "parked" state, and add some XML expression that, if returns true, will assume a custom condition AS IF the parking brakes were set.

Hi,
Can you be more specific please with the solution you suggest? An example maybe?

Check the Parking Brakes Test chapter at Page 75 of the manual, it has some examples.

Thank you very much!
Problem solved for the Taog's Huey helicopter by using this ...
in the Parking brakes test field, I filled:
(A:ROTOR BRAKE ACTIVE, bool)
and it worked! Great!

Maybe this is something that can be added to the next GSX update since helispot are identified now. I like the "Rotor brake" idea. Every helicopter has one.
