Title: GSX Crashes with an error P3D V5.2
Post by: joesamashin on March 11, 2024, 11:12:50 pm
Hi there.
Ever since the last update, I am getting GSX error "The addon <unknown> is causing the Couatl Scripting Engine to restart. Please run Live Update."
And it just crashes. I've attached the log. Could you please assist on checking what is wrong?

Thank you.

Your log shows you haven't updated GSX, because the error refers to a line that has been moved now.

So as in the GSX program is not updated? The build 5335 is not the latest?
I'm so sorry if I'm not understanding the issue.
Trying to fix the problem.

Thank you.

Hi Ray,
Thanks for that. Although, that didn't help me much.
I have the GSX up to date and I don't think it's to do with the not being able to update the program it self.

Umborto, this never happened before the last update.
Can you please check what the update is doing? I believe there are multiple users in the forum facing the same issue.

Each and every user who reported this, confirmed it was fixed by updating using the Live update. You can't see from P3D the exact version number like in MSFS, because there's no manifest file for a P3D package, so you just run the update.
