Title: GSX pushback wont work IF an engine or engines are on
Post by: benjroverr on March 05, 2024, 09:32:02 am
Hi there, first of all thanks for the multiple and continuous updates to make GSX better and better. could you implement this option so that pushback truck can provide a pushback with one engine running or both running? usually in non-normal ops when you have to start one engine at the gate due to APU being inop, you are left with a situation where you need a pushback but one of your engines is on, GSX won't push you back if you have an engine running which is a bit of a bummer.

thanks :)

or when ATC gives you a startup clearance at gate without push. That is definetely needed as an option at least.

There should be a setting somewhere for this already. I don't remember if it's in the GSX settings itself or if it's tied to the individual aircraft profiles, but it is already there.

GSX Manual, Page 70:

Engines Start before Pushback

If this option is Enabled, GSX will wait for at least one Engine to start before starting Pushback. It’s normally used only with airplanes without an APU.
