Title: Parking Assignments

I can never get my United Planes to go to their correct parking assignments, i always get the fsx atc to have me go to gate 35, 36, and sometimes 40, it's never 7, 8, 9,or 10?

I also downloaded PHNL last weekend if that makes any different

The FS ATC doesn't take into account the parking assignment codes, for your airplane. It's only relevant for the AI.

Any pratical way of fixing that problem ???

Not really, because it would require to hack into the ATC system. It's something that has always been like this anyway.

Of course, you could maybe play with the parking radius because, the main rule is, the ATC will direct you to the smallest parking that can handle your airplane so, by adjusting the radius, it's possible to somewhat assign parkings, but it will never be related to your airline in any case.

Make sure you have this line in your aircraft.cfg:


ATC_PARKING_TYPES=GATE
ATC_PARKING_CODES=UAL


Works every time as long as there is an available coded gate that isn't too small for the aircraft.
