Title: GSX Crashed with FSLabs after takeoff
Post by: TheCaptain3618 on October 29, 2023, 05:43:05 pm
I'm having a problem with GSX, specially with FSLabs A320-X & A320-SL, when P3D freezes with GSX and results in Couatl being restarted. Logs, including other files, and details below:

- Aircraft: FSLabs A320-X (with or without sharklets)
- GSX Latest version (as of 23rd October 2023)
- Departure point: OBBI
- Arrival point: OERK
- Other addons: FSHUD, Active Sky P3D, TOGA Products (ENVSHADE, ENVTEX, ENVSOUND), Volanta, Loadsheet2Hoppie, RAAS Pro, FS2Crew, UGCX
- No Custom operator being added
- Problem occurs when I leave the airport zone and enters other airport zone, which results in P3D being frozen. Does not occur on other aircraft than FSLabs.

I went to this page, followed all the procedures and eventually fixed the problem. 12bpilot SODE had to be removed first before grabbing a new Installer that I downloaded and installed. Then put all the SODE stuff back to original folders as I made a backup prior to uninstalling.

You are not having any problems with GSX.

Your P3D is crashing/freezing for other reasons, and it would bring down all the addon with it, especially Couatl, which since it's a native x64 application, it must do its own memory clean up on exit and, if it can't because the sim crashed abruptly, it will crash in the Event viewer, misleading you it might have been the cause of the problem, when in fact was the victim.

I referred to this one and everything worked:

Culprit: SODE (had to be removed first and then installed from stretch with a new SODE installer)
