The members of the ground crew that hold the orange light-up batons are called wing walkers. You can see them during pushback https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwFAEyvtVNQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwFAEyvtVNQ) and during taxi in https://youtu.be/perToEokKR0?si=evcMNvWszW9d_7Of&t=31140 (https://youtu.be/perToEokKR0?si=evcMNvWszW9d_7Of&t=31140). It would be really cool to see this added to GSX.

They already exist in GSX. It's the person that follows you out to the end of the pushback point and gives you the all clear while waving the "remove before flight" tag

Yes, but that is only one person. I believe they meant plural. That one dude definitely isn't watching your wings when you taxi in if he's marshalling you into the gate.

Yes this is exactly what I am talking about. During pushback in real life there is definitely more than just one person apart of the process.

Airlines commonly use as many as four persons in their pushback crews. A crew can comprise a dispatcher, a driver and one or two observers or wingwalkers. Wingwalkers walk along with the wingtip to ensure that it clears obstructions, and generally have no other duties.
