Title: GSX jetways for custom airport MSFS. Help needed

I edited a default airport and added gates with default jetways.
Also added a custom new terminal and added default jetways. How can I add GSX jetways?
When I try edit using GSX, no gsx jetways coming up.

If with "I edited a default airport", you mean you used the DevMode to create a new airport project, you can find GSX jetways in the list of available SimObject you can place.

Yes using devmode.

So if I add GSX jetways from Simobjects, do they get connected to the planes? Or its just static?
