So I took a few months off from dealing with this issue. I actually bought this again today redownloaded everything, but first i did add the whole addon manager folder to my antivirus exclusions list. Ran the sim for testing and when I click on gsx icon. menu pops up but stays in loading screen mode. did I miss any steps etc? Here's my log hopefully I did it correctly.

I am also getting this randomly since the last MSFS AAU2 update at any airport. Does not occur every time.
When it happens the menu in the toolbar is showing GSX as active.
Today I also got the unspecified add on preventing Couatl from running, and the panic log started and says:
(Running latest update of GSX Pro.)
Not sure if these two issues are linked.

OOPs saw the instructions under the sticky. Will follow and post under separate post. But what about the panic log, which is a separate issue?

Your log shows the program started but it was blocked while waiting the sim to connect to it. I'm sorry but, the one and only few cases reported with the same exact issue in the log, were all caused by either the antivirus or the firewall blocking the program.
Check again the antivirus, and do the Live Update again, and be sure you don't have any active firewall, which can block both the updater, but also the connection to the sim as well.

Nowhere we ever said to "turn off the antivirus", and this is for the precise reason that you really can't "turn off" an antivirus entirely without removing it. That's why, instead of saying "turn off the antivirus", we always said to:
- Add the whole Addon Manager folder to the Antivirus EXCLUSIONS
This way, you can keep the antivirus installed, but it shouldn't ( in theory ) interfere with anything in that folder.

Ok. Well I’ll try your suggestion turning off the firewall. As I stated in my post from yesterday, I added the entire addon manager folder to my exclusion list then I ran the update. But I believe my firewall was on during the update.
