My GSX Pro doesn't want to load. Even when the Couatl states airport loaded. I click on the GSX icon in MSFS, the window pops up then quickly dissapears and nothing happens?
What update do i do, the live or offline?

Nothing is supposed to happen, unless you open the GSX menu on the Toolbar. On the first start, it will have to build the airport cache, and this will take a minute or so, so you can't use it until it's completed.

The GSX window on the sim from the drop down menu bar. When i click on the GSX icon, the GSX menu box/window appears then disappears. I can't access the add-on

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is anyone who is encountering the same thing which the GSX panel would shut down automatically.
Aircraft starts with cold & dark, i push GSX button then GSX panel just close automatically, GSX has been updated to latest version.

Which is why I said: on the first start, it will have to build the airport cache, and this will take a minute or so, so you can't use it until it's completed. You should see some text message saying something about the cache being rebuilt.

I've tried it, but unfortunately it still doesn't work after 3 mins. same issue.

On some systems, with a very high number of sceneries, it can take longer than that.

As i said before, it doesn't load i waited 5 mins "airport cache loaded successfully" it states. Click on the GSX from the drop down bar and nothing happens. Small airport LPMA (Maderia) so not a lot to load. In stead of giving us one lined "answers" we need a breakdown as to what we should do. I see you still havent answered my question as to what update we use? live or offline?
Real answer this time please or money back.

Because this has been answered so many times, and it's also clear from the Sticky thread about the Offline installer what to do, which I'll repeat again here:
- You should always use the Live Updater first.
- If you suspect you have issues with downloads, possibly caused by your local cloudflare node not being updated, you should use the Offline installer.
As indicated in the Offline installer instructions, a way to know if you might have a download problem that would require using the Offline installer, is to notice if there are files being redownloaded over and over, even if you run the Live Update twice in a row.
And (also indicated in the Offline installer instructions), SOME files are supposed to be always be downloaded, which are the Airport Services and the Jetway replacement ZIP files and the GSX profiles for FSDT airports. If files OTHER than these are being constantly redownloaded, you might have a problem with the downloads, so you should use the Offline installer. If not, it means your local node is fine, and the Live Update it's enough.
In addition to that, the other Sticky thread named "How to report an error", provide with clear instructions how to create a diagnostic log. Please post your log, made just after a Live Update, so it can show the airport cache regeneration process, and any possible issues with it.

Are you sure it "crashed" ? Have you seen an error message ? If yes, which error ? If it just ran, checked there were no updates to download and then exited, it's exactly what is supposed to do normally.

That's not very clear, what you do mean "unexpectedly" ? It crashed even before it did anything ? Have you seen an error message ? If yes, which error ? If it just ran, checked there were no updates to download and then exited, it's exactly what is supposed to do normally.

- Be sure the firewall is disabled

Your log doesn't show any problems, the airport cache has been created correctly, it recognized the airport you are in, including its jetways so, it should just work.

That's the problem.

Ok, that's a different issue so, it's not stuck on loading, it's opens and close immediately. Is it possible you have some other add-on or even some hardware that is constantly sending keypresses, so it closed the menu as soon it opened ?

You are constantly arguing I shouldn't have placed your post in this thread, and said your issue is different, when it really isn't. Now maybe you understood what you did wrong, we might discuss a solution.
Which I don't have because, based on the evidence of your log, there is something sending a key to close the menu as soon it opens. But you say you checked, and it's not that, so I'm out of solutions, based on the evidence of the log.

Just search all hundreds of YouTube videos, made daily, with streamers making complete flight, with the GSX menu *obviously* working. This should at least convince you GSX menu normally WORKS so, clearly, it must be something specific to your system.
The money you spent on GSX will only cover getting ACCESS to support, which you are clearly getting, since I'm spending my time helping you and trying to figure out what's going one, based on the log you provide and your description of the problem, but you can't expect I'd be able to fix "everything", like a possible conflict with some hardware or another add-on, the only thing you should expect it's by best EFFORT to help you, nobody can guaranteed any solution to any problem.

Don't worry Umberto. Most of us understand the money on GSX is money well spent to get an amazing second to none immersion program for lots of flight simmers. Most of us also understand that you and the FSDT team are working very hard around the clock to fix issues as they arise 24/7. Very few developers, like you, even take the time to communicate and offer solutions to the issues that come up. That, being said, we really appreciate what you are doing. 👍

Hi,
Had problems last 2 times I've flown where I have the same issues as above. Sim loads, once in VR, click the toolbar, select GSX, the yellow box appears for a few seconds, spinning the loading menu text, then just disappears. This has been working absolutely fine until last weekend.
Only other software installed since was FS2Pro RAAS Pro and Fenix A320.
Have tried in VR and out of VR but the same issue takes place. Have tried to run the live update, this appears to start to download a few file, the box closes (no errors). I've attached the .err file from %appdata%\virtuali folder to see if this helps, does show an error towards the top, just not sure what it is.

It would be best if you enable logging and post the .LOG file, since the .ERR file won't contain all info we need to understand the error.

I have minor loading issue too since the newest update.
At departure, it was fully working After landing I was able to preselect the gate, request follow me, but at parking position I only get loading screen.
Restarted couatl, exited, started manually which usually solves the problem, but this time not, just loading menu. Waited several minutes and it got fine, was able to start deboarding.

Hi, if there will be no response, if like to request a full refund and I’ll stop using this, shame as it’s good and sure will get better but when I can’t use it at all and responses this slow, not worth having it sadly

I'm sorry but, we haven't been able to reproduce your problem in any way. Are you using AI Injection programs and/or high AI settings ? The only possible reason of your problem is Simconnect is just stopping to work, due to the overload caused by these products, which cause the overall number of Simobject in a scene to be too high. This is a known problem in MSFS that is being investigated.
What you can try is:
- Lower the AI Injection settings, or stop using AI Injection altogether.
- If you don't use AI Injection, just lower the AI density
- Disable the "Ground clutter" option in the GSX Config Panel and run the Update again, so it will download a more lightweight version of the Jetway replacement files that will contain less objects ( just jetways ) not increasing the amount of objects compared to the default. However, this will only make a difference in default airports, which are the only ones where jetway replacement should be used.

Thanks for the update, I’ll check the settings shortly. I do use FSLTL (the fly by wire installed ai and use their injector but not all the time, but I’ll go through all the points you supplied to check and update you later.

So I've checked settings, FSLTL in injector was not started, screen shot attached showing the AI Traffic settings. Started the FSDT live Update, ticked to turn off Ground Clutter, restarted sim, no change.

Problem resolved, when I un-installed, I didn't delete some folders that I should have, now working.

Upon running the un-installer, deleting the Addon Manager folder, the community folders were still there (fsdreamteam-gsx-pro and fsdreamteam-gsx-world-of-jetways), had to delete them manually, then when I re-installed, it worked ok. Side question, sorry not searched forum for it, anyway the little pop up messages (e.g 22 Passengers boarded) can they be presented in VR as well?

That's to be expected.
You need to Uninstall the various products from the FSDT Installer itself, which will remove all the links in the Community folder, then you can Uninstall the FSDT Universal Installer from the Windows Control Panel.
Side question, sorry not searched forum for it, anyway the little pop up messages (e.g 22 Passengers boarded) can they be presented in VR as well ?
The message is displayed, but it might not be easy to see in VR, since its position might be somewhere not immediately obvious on screen, depending on the headset resolution and field of view. Note that, if the GSX menu is closed from the Toolbar, so the icon is not active, no message will be seen.

The same issue as before has returned, this has happened since the latest FS2020 update. Was working ok, Community folder was zipped and moved to a backup location, community folder emptied, Sim updated, loaded with empty community folder, quit sim, copied zip back to community, extracted and launched sim and menu spins for a few seconds and just disappears?

Your log indicates everything is running. However, your method of update the sim is a bit complex and everything might have gone wrong with it.
Instead of restoring the whole Community ( you have a backup, so you can try this ), start with the empty Community and Relink GSX instead, and try just with it and nothing else loaded.

I have this problem. Clicking on the GSX Icon the loading starts for half a second and then dissapears. No loading at all.!
Any solution? I have already waited for more than 10 minutes....

Do you mean GSX doesn't start automatically, but it starts manually if you use the Start GSX for MSFS icon on the Desktop, or it doesn't start at all?
