Title: FSX Crash

I have a problem with the great (!!!) F/A-18: if I use some knobs (for example ACL or SEQ) at any of the screens FSX crashes down and windows produces a failure post:

If you modified your swap file settings, try reverting to the default of letting Windows manage the virtual memory and optimize for regular applications, not system cache.

That exact error code is also documented here:

Totally different application, same error code and memory address. Doesn't seems to be specifically related to the F/A-18.

thanks virtuali for the fast try to help me: I forgot to say that I have Vista 32 bit and did not make changes to the default memory settings... but you`re right: the error code in your posted link is exactly the same...how knows?...I tried it out in the last hour: the problem comes only by using the knob down on the right side of the screen(SEQ or ACL)...however: I think like you that the problem is not made by "your" panel...otherwise other users would have the same problem like me...Again: thank you for the extremly fast answer...bye

...some new things to think over: the problem exists only in free flight mode, in the original MS FSX Accel. - Missions everything works fine... now I try a completely new install of FSX + Acceleration Package...I´ll tell you the result in some days

I have the same problem with a GeForce 7900 GS. I did install the FSX Demo first, then SP1, then SP2, then I did uninstall SP2 to install the Acceleration Pack.

My question: Is SP1 nessarary for the Acceleration Pack?

We think to have spotted the problem with the SEQ buttons:

You shouldn't save a flight with a flight plan active, to be subsequently loaded. Save flights only when a flight plan is not active and, when loading flight, first load the flight, then load the flight plan separately.
