Hello
I am trying to alter the config for Aerosoft a321 in sim but everytime I save it it goes back to the way it was before. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your time.

Hi Umberto. I am having this issue when I’m trying to configure the door positions on the customise aircraft option in the GSX tab.
-
exactly that, the doors thing is exasperating...

Hello Community,
i have exactly the same problem here. When I adjust the doors in the 3D editor, they are initially correct. After a restart of the FSX all positions were reset. However, a gfx.cfg file was created under AppData\Roaming\..

The only problem after update remaining for me is gsx level 2 can not recognise the door positions and height which I set under ac settings.
I am using prepar3d v5.3 and prosim's ac model ProSimB738-2022 Pro
This is the only problem remainig after the update.
If you need any file to investigate the problem please tell me I am ready to send.
Best Regards

Same here. Prosim B737. The door heights are metres out on start up. After modifying them with the 3D editor they stick for that flight. Change and airport location and they are out again.
I run the updater every day and this problem still remains.

Also same in FSX. I have a gsx.cfg file saved for correct door position for my 757. With the file in the correct folder in AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes, GSX does not read it. Deleted and completely set it up again using the editor and, as mentioned above, works only for the current session.

Experiencing this also on CS767, CS757 but not on PMDG NGXu, 777, 747, QW787, aerosoft 333 so far. Testing the rest of the fleet...

I will test some others and report back.

Tested CS757, PMDG 737NGX, PMDG 777 and Aerosoft A320 family. Same results for all - if I make changes in the editor, it works fine for that session and it writes the changes to the file. If I then close and reopen the sim, everything is out of position again BUT the gsx.cfg files do not change - they still reflect the changes I made in the previous session. The only way to get it to work is to delete the respective gsx.cfg and start again. Which sets the whole cycle off again. This is in FSX-SE.

Interesting. I had not edited any airplane cfg files in a long time. In my case GSX read most of the aircraft files that had been unchanged for months. All but the CaptainSim addons, which were not read correctly the first time since the update. Then after editing they would only be read the first session like you commented.

Yes same problem does not save the config file any more have to edit the aircraft door positions every time i startup the sim
-
Same here, it won’t follow or save the aircraft configuration. For example I set the height of the 737 fwd door to 2.40m but whenever the services are active stairs go heighten. I go to the aircraft configuration mode and see that the fwd door height jumped to 3.33m, I correct it and restart the services. It shows 2.40m on configuration window but will execute it as 3.33m. I have the similar problem with fwd cargo door. I correct the position, restart the system, belt loader goes towards the nose of the aircraft. All 3 axis are doing this in different doors.

Just posting this here as I posted this in another thread a couple of days ago. Even with latest update still the same.

Still the same as in deleting the gsx.cfg works? Or does it make no difference? Thanks.

No diffrenche gsx simpley does not recorde any modification , its all messed up since the last two updates ....
-
Same problem with CS-737 Classic (300-400-500) and CS-737-300 series.

I have been working with three different aircraft. The default FSX 737-800, the TDS 757-200 and the TDS 737-Max8. Neither of the TDS models will save the door cfg settings but the default FSX 737-800 will. No rhyme or reason here.

Still the same as in it doesn't work. It's not reading the gsx.cfg I think - at least that's what it seems. Problem persists with the latest update today (01/09).
-
Yes the config files does not get saved you have to edit the door postions in every flight so the line up corectley .
-
No news? Still following this thread...
-
Hi, since the last update for GSX, the door alignment semms to be broken. As you cann see in the screenshot provided, the stairs don't fit well. When I go into "Customize aircraft", all the doors are coorectly aligned with the GSX markings.

Having the exact same issue :(

Hello,
I have your newest update of GSXv1 and v2, for P3Dv4.5 and it seems saved aircraft configs have been lost since then, It's even worse, when I try to reconfig the exits e.g. for CS767-300 or Aerosoft A330 it does not save the config values (by hitting slew/ Y key). It always resets the values! And it also seems that the parameters in the appdata/virtuali/Airplane folder seem to be correct, but it is not reading them?
What parameters are read at all by GSX, I do not understand from which source GSX gets the Aircraft exit parameters then?
The problem has occured since your latest update, it has never ocurred before...
Thanks for your help!
C.
