- Catering and Handler added due to new contracts at EBBR
  Catering:
  Handlers:
- Cargo Apron 9 changed completely with push and pull and multiple handlers
  Handlers
- Added compatibility drag and drop installer from https://elevatesolutions.live/DDI_pages/DDIOverview/
- Per default if you want to avoid all VDGS loading but just the active user aircraft change this line disable_static_docks = 0 to 1

Install instructions:
Simple use the drag and drop installer from elevatesolutions (in combination with the zipfile below attached).

Thanks for working on this! I assume it will solve the no front stairs issue with the A320 (Flybywire) also? (Currently only the rear stairs are showing up)

Ok version 1.0  is here some small tweaks to do and unfortunately some gates aren't available at terminal North 2 and south 2 a few.... Pull doesn't work so tried to make a work around here but this file is as close to real life possible...
place/save the attachment file in your directory (your drive):\Users\(your usr name)\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS
Make sure to run GSX cfg (via FSDT installer) and run the exclude 3d party option to avoid double gates!

Yep after some other adjustments are done...

Unfortunately its the only airport which doesnt work for me. I cannot connect any jetways and have doupled parking positions with different numbers.

If you see double parking, it's because you haven't disabled the airport from GSX jetways replacement, using the "Exclude 3rd party" button in the GSX Pro Config option in the Installer. Or, if it's not found automatically, insert the ICAO and add it to the Disabled list.

Check if it's not in the enabled list as well. If it is, move it again and Apply.

Okay, that was the problem and now the jetways are working, well sort of...
What is the problem now?

Which gate is that at terminal south 2? and which aircraft? the problem is the stop is to soon for the jetway to reach the aircraft maybe I should replace there the Aerosoft VDGS

The aircraft is the PMDG 737-800 and the gate was somewhere in the 230's don't know the exact spot anymore.

Post by: SK10 on August 28, 2022, 10:45:00 pm
I have the 737-800 profile downloaded separately and it works well, tested gate 148 and all was good, but on gate 231R not anymore…
Title: Re: EBBR Aerosoft
Post by: SK10 on August 29, 2022, 12:34:09 pm
It was 233R sorry and it seems has to do with positioning. When I use the selection from MSFS it doesn't fit, but using the positioning from GSX then it works.

At EBBR I can't seem to find an open gate. I choose an unoccupied gate from the menu, and whether I warp there or taxi there its occupied. Warp to a new empty gate - same thing. Is this something that can be adjusted from the file you are building or do I have to solve it on my own system in GSX config ? thanks

Latest Sept 2 version of GSX, re-ran the exclusion to be sure I am using EBBR jetways. Still the same problem. Really tough finding an open gate even though they tell me they are unoccupied. Could be an issue with Aerosoft Simple Traffic. Also don;'t see any pax walking through the gate. Should I be using the FBW loader on the pad inside the aircraft? I've tried both just using GSX and using the loader tho I assume Simbrief Integration is working.

Strange shouldn't be an issue, did you try with simple traffic off? and or different aircraft?

My bad-- I neglected to adjust the file path to my own drive (E rather than G). Will retry and then post the result likely fine now thanks!

Reading the BGL now. I still get warped to occu-pied gates, but when I hit the GSX menu the AI disappears so that is ok. man but EBBR is a beauty piece of work. Unfortunately I can';t see any passengers when boarding have tried multiple gates. FBW A320 with jetways excluded at EBBR.

That should work did you load any passengers with the aircraft via simbrief? isn't the load 0? Tested with the Fenix A320 and PMDG 737 fleet and it works fine... From the terminal into the jetway into the aircraft just boarding and de boarding fine.

Interesting. At Simbrief I left passengers on AUTO. Ok I will change that to 150 and see what happens. Also interesting, after adding the EBBR profile I had trouble loading MSFS. Three failures on the final load bar after the map before it loaded. Happened twice in a row.

Maybe this is my problem this looks like the default EBBR jetway am I right? I excluded after the update and then ran the config again after hitting APPLY but this is what I have.
Title: Re: EBBR Aerosoft
Post by: Flightdoc on September 04, 2022, 02:00:21 am
So I loaded 155 passengers in Simbrief but still no boarders seen. Do  I have to start the loading in Simbrief or just in GSX - this is one question I have not seen answered...
Title: Re: EBBR Aerosoft
Post by: Flightdoc on September 04, 2022, 11:10:57 pm
Well this is really puzzling. I can't seem to load MSFS while running the EBBR profile. Out of 4 tries I got in once then the next its back to crashing. Remove the new profile and I can load first try. I get to gate selection
and about 3/4 of the load bar then CTD

Title: Re: EBBR Aerosoft
Post by: Flightdoc on September 05, 2022, 08:24:29 pm
I reinstalled EBBR and also the Sept 5 update to GSX - I can then see passengers boarding. But it looks like they are boarding through the 3rd party jetway. I then added your EBBR config v 103 back in . MSFS now loads correctly - but passengers gone again. I'll see if I can exclude these jetways I've tried several times but odd they work w/o the GSX configuration.

NO matter how much I try to exclude the jetways at EBBR they remain. I can board crew and passengers through them. But as soon as I add your custom EBBR config I see no passengers or crew. This is all with FBW A320 and Simbrief.

@awf
There appears to be an issue with Aerosoft EBBR with overlapping ICAOs - EBBR (civilian sector) and EBMB (military sector). With SU10 Navdata API enabled, GSX will only recognise EBMB it seems.

Fix is to add the following to [GSX] section of the %APPDATA%\VIRTUALI\CouatlAddons.INI file:

Code: [Select]
airport_visibility_EBMB = 0
Might need some fine tuning in order to get both sectors working correctly.

Some of the gates state they are too small for the aircraft. When looking at the ini file there is nothing mentioned about those gates in there? Assume these will be modelled?

Working on a huge update with push and pull and stop lines for different aircraft plus logical grouping and naming in the GSX menu.
Also small tweaks and other small updates North 1 and South 1 are done...
As for the update remember that all the L gates don't work because MSFS doesn't support overlapping gates and docking so it will be the R gates...

I noticed some of the cargo parking spots, like 969, have no VGDS, even though the latest 10-9D says these spots should have it.

As for stand 969 have to check the latest 10-9D ok will adjust platfom 9 have to look which VDGS is now used there in real life...

In general for performance reasons it loads the VDGS when the simbrief flightplan is synced via the GSX menu...
If you would like them to load all at once change this line in the ebbr ini file

disable_static_docks = 1 into > disable_static_docks = 0
