Umberto, I am unable to run the FSDT Installer and getting the error in the attached screenshot. I just ran the installer a couple days ago and successfully completed updates prior to GSX release, so I know it works. I also am 100% sure nothing changed in my local network since then.

Update.
The installer only runs if I try to install it from the .exe file. Every time I execute it from the created desktop icon, it times out and gives this error. I am also failing to install GSX, it shows it completes but the GSX directory in the Addon Manager folder is empty. I was able to activate it, but it fails to install. Any ideas there?

That message comes only in this case, if the following URL cannot be reached:
http://update.virtualisoftware.com/setup/couatl-trigger
And as you can see, it's normally up using this site that can check URLs:
https://www.site24x7.com/link-checker.html

OK, what does that mean?

That it's something local to your network, maybe a firewall or antivirus.

It isn't. I have the same router and modem for months and nothing changed. I am going to wait this out a couple of days and let the craziness subside, but I will be back here asking for help if it doesn't get resolved by EOD Sunday.

Do you have a VPN software you can try ?

I was finally able to install it, it must have been the server overload as everything installed smoothly and I've been trying all morning the Mountain Time. Sigh. :)
